Medicare
Click on the different links below to learn more about the different Medicare products to choose from once you become eligible for Original Medicare. Or what to do if you are a current Health Insurance Marketplace Policy Holder.
Medicare Advantage
Medicare Advantage Plans are also referred to as Part C Plans or Replacement Plans because they take over your Original Medicare Parts A (Hospital) & B (Outpatient Provider Visits) and add Drug Coverage and extra benefits Original Medicare doesn’t offer. This would be Medicare’s bundled package. Click on the link to learn more.
Medicare Supplement Policies
Medicare Supplement Policies are also referred to as Medigap Plans because they work in combination with your Original Medicare Parts A (Hospital) & B (Outpatient Provider Visits). They do not provide Drug Coverage which is a requirement to have by the Government once you’re eligible for Medicare. Click on the link to learn more.
Current Health Insurance Marketplace Policy Holder?
When you first become eligible for Medicare, you have 3 months prior to the month you’re first eligible for benefits, the month your Original Medicare Part B starts, and the three months following that to enroll into some type of Medicare Plan. This is called your Initial Enrollment Period (IEP). HOWEVER, if you are currently in a Health Insurance Marketplace Plan, your time to enroll is shortened. Please click on the link to learn more.
