Medicare Advantage

(Part C)

Medicare Advantage plans are health plans offered by private insurers that contract with Medicare.

They are sometimes also referred to as Replacement Plans.

Medicare Part A

Medicare Advantage plans cover everything Medicare Part A covers like hospital stays, skilled nursing facilities, and home health care.

Medicare Part B

Medicare Advantage Plans cover everything Medicare Part B covers like doctor visits and many outpatient services, such as lab tests, X-rays, and physical therapy.

Medicare Part D

Original Medicare does not include Medicare Part D Coverage, which is for Prescription Drugs. However, Medicare Advantage Plans do. They can be considered a Bundle Package.

Many plans offer additional benefits not covered by Original Medicare, like vision, dental, hearing, and more!

  • If you enroll into any Medicare Plan directly with Medicare, you will not have an agent to contact when you have customer service issues throughout the year! You would have to wait till the next Annual Enrollment Period to have us gain the Agent of Record to be able to help you with your Medicare Policy throughout the year.

  • If you enroll into a Medicare Plan directly with Florida Blue, then their Corporate Office will be your Agent of Record and that can NEVER be changed!

  • If you enroll into a Health Plan directly with FHCP, then their Corporate Office will be your Agent of Record and that can NEVER be changed unless you have a lapse in coverage, which is not advised!
